THE PASSIVE The passive voice is used to show interest in the person or object that experiences an action rather than the person or object that performs the action. In other words, the most important thing or person becomes the subject of the sentence. Transitive verbs  have both  active  and  passive  forms: active passive The hunter killed the lion. >> The lion was killed by the hunter. WHY?   Design occupies a unique space between art and science by Terence Conran, 1931-, British designer Türk Ordusu'nun Üniformaları Chanel'den Atatürk Coco Chanel'den TSK için kıyafet tasarlamasını istemiş. Coco Chanel ile aynı ortamlarda buluşmuşluğu olan modacı Vural Gökçaylı, verdiği röportajda Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri'nde 1945 yılına kadar Chanel tasarımlarının giyildiğini açıkladı. Vural'ın iddiasına göre; Chanel'in moda anlayışı ve dünyayı saran ünü Atatürk'ün de ilgisini çekmiş ve Atatürk 1930'larda Coco Chanel'den TSK için kıyafet tasarlamasını rica etmiş. Bunun üzerine Chanel, subaylardan sonraki üst düzey askerlerin merasim giysilerini tasarlamış.
